Our Team

What We Believe

  • We believe in the Old and New Testament Scriptures as the divinely inspired Word of God, presenting the complete revelation of God’s will regarding the redemption of humanity and serving as the divine and sole guide for Christian faith and practice (II Tim. 3:16; II Pet. 1:21).
  • We believe in the triune God (the Trinity), revealed in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Matt. 3:16-17).
  • We believe that man was created in the image of God, but through Adam’s fall, sin entered the world (Rom. 5:12; Rom. 3:23).
  • We believe that salvation is made possible through the redemptive work of Jesus Christ on the cross and that we are saved by grace through faith (John 3:16, Eph. 2:19-22).
  • We believe that the true church is the Body of Christ whose head is the Lord Jesus Himself. It is made up to all true believers who witness a born again experience (Col. 1:18; Eph. 2:19-22).
  • We believe that God calls men and women to serve in the five-fold ministry, and specifically endues the one called with the talents and abilities peculiar to that office. Under no circumstance should anyone be set apart to ministry unless the calling is distinct, evident, and confirmed by the presbyter. (Eph. 4:8-13).
  • We believe that water baptism is by immersion and is a direct commandment of the Lord to all believers. The ordinance is symbolic of our identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection. (Matt. 29:19, Rom. 6:4, Col. 2:12).
  • We believe that the baptism in the Holy Spirit is a gift from God and is available to all believers. The Baptism in the Holy Spirit is a second word of grace received after salvation, the initial sign of which is speaking in other tongues as the spirit gives utterance. (John 14:16-17, Act 1:8, 2:4).
  • We believe that sanctification is an ongoing process and a work of grace in the life of the believer, beginning at the moment of rebirth and completed at the coming of the Lord Jesus (2 Cor. 3:18; 2 Pet. 3:18; 1 Thess. 5:23; Heb. 12:14).
  • We believe in the ordinance of the Lord’s Supper. In a real way the presence and power of God is revealed in communion. We neither believe transubstantiation, nor consubstantiation, but believe the Lord is in the communion in a real and personal being received by the believers.(I Corinthians11:27).
We believe that healing is a healing part of the atonement and can be appropriated by faith in Jesus’ redeeming work. (Acts 10:38, I Peter 2:24).
  • We believe that healing is a restorative aspect of redemption and can be received through faith in the redemptive work of Jesus (Acts 10:38; 1 Pet. 2:24).
  • We believe in the resurrection of the just at the return of Christ. We further believe that the righteous dead are in the presence of God until the resurrection. (I Thess. 4:16-17, I Cor. 5:8).
  • We believe in the visible return of Christ and the literal rapture of the Church to meet the Lord in the air.
  • We believe that anyone who dies without Christ is hopelessly and eternally lost, condemned to hell, with no opportunity for repentance thereafter (Heb. 9:27; Rev. 19:20).
  • We believe in the tithing, recognizing that tithing existed before the Law, during theLaw, and after the Law. Jesus Himself commended the tithe. The writer of Hebrews establishes the tithe as New Testament practices. Tithing is representative of our personal commitment to the Lord and is a reflection of our covenant with Him. (Gen. 14:18-20, Mal.3:10, Matt. 23:23, Heb.7:8).
